Use of the CMECIC-Learning Portal
Your user account is for your own personal use only. It is non-transferable and will remain active only for the duration of your course as detailed on the website as long as there is no breach of the following terms and conditions. The sharing of accounts is expressly forbidden under the terms of this agreement and CMECIC reserves the right to suspend any accounts that breach this agreement.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use www.changingmindsenterprisecic.co.uk courses and content in any way except for your own studies and personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of www.changingmindsenterprisecici.co.uk content requires the prior written permission of CMECIC.
You agree to use www.changingmindsenterpsiecic.co.uk only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of www.changingmindsenterpsiecic.co.uk. Prohibited behaviour includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting / posting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the studies of others who use www.changingmindsenterprisecic.co.uk.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
CMECIC content, including study material, information, assessments, assignments, audio and video content, text, names, images, pictures, logos and icons regarding or relating to the various courses and services contained within the CMECIC learning portal is the intellectual property of CMECIC and/or approved third-party authors or other third-parties. It is provided "as seen" and on an "as available" basis without any representations or any kind of warranty made (whether express or implied by law) to the extent permitted by law, including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.
Under no circumstances will CMECIC be liable for any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses where foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; (g) failure to pass any assessment, assignment or examination; (h) failure to achieve, attain or obtain a qualification or award; (i) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of www.changingmindsenterprisecic.co.uk regardless of the form of action.
The owners, partners and authors of the CMECIC - learning portal wish to make you aware that: The owners, partners authors or individual contributors on any CMECIC course do not accept any responsibility for any error, omissions, mis-statements or mistakes. All students and users of this e-learning portal are advised to refer to current published prescribing information when making clinical or therapeutic decisions.
Whilst our servers are virus checked and monitored on a regular basis, there are factors out with our control that may affect the reliability and connectivity to the Internet. CMECIC does not warrant that functions contained in the www.changingmindsenterpsiecic.co.uk learning portal, its content or any other website operated by CMECIC will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that www.changingmindsenterpsiecic.co.uk the server, or any other website or server operated by CMECIC are free of viruses or bugs.
All content, names, images and logos identifying CMECIC, its courses and services and all third parties and their products and services, are subject to copyright, design rights and trade marks (whether established or pending) of CMECIC and/or accredited, licensed or approved third-parties. Nothing contained in these terms shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel or otherwise any licence or right to use any trademark, patent, design right or copyright of the CMECIC or any other third party.
Contributions to www.changingmindsenterpisecic.co.uk and relevant third-parties
Where you are invited to submit any contribution to www.changingmindsenterprisecic.co.uk (including any text, coursework, photographs, graphics, assignments, assessments, video or audio) you agree, by submitting your contribution, to grant CMECIC the right to make this contribution available to the relevant Professional Body, Awarding Body or other third-party who may require access to such contributions in order to make a judgement or decision on whether to make specific qualification or other awards to you.
By submitting any contribution, you agree that your contribution is your own original work and you have the right to make it available to CMECIC for the purposes specified above.
You also agree that it is not defamatory, it does not infringe any law, it is not the result of plagiarism and you agree to indemnify CMECIC against all legal fees and damages and other expenses that may be incurred by CMECIC as a result of your breach of the above warranty.
Courses on the CMECIC learning portal are offered to students for a time limited subscription period. The details of which can be found on the CMECIC site.
All course Assessments should be completed and submitted to CMECIC for assessment within the allotted time frames for the course.
Students should be aware that extensions to time frames are non-mandatory and are only permitted in exceptional circumstances. If you apply to CMECIC for an extension there is no guarantee that we will agree to such an extension and our decision is final.

We will endeavour to get back to you with our decision as soon as possible.
In recognition of Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 a refund within seven days of purchase is possible, even though these are ‘goods that by reason of their nature cannot be returned'.

Stating your reason for requesting a refund, the course number, your user name and password and the date you subscribed to the course. It should be noted that we may not give a refund if our records show the course has had more than 1 hours use.
We undertake to make refunds back into your PayPal account within 30 days.
Where the user's software, computer or firewall set up prevents viewing of the course we will give a full refund.
When using www.changingmindsenterprisecic.co.uk we advise that you do not reveal any personal information about yourself, or anyone else, to other students not known to you who also use the CMECIC learning portal.
- You may not submit any defamatory or illegal material of any nature in any section of www.changingmindsenterprisecic.co.uk. This includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.
- Contributing material with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited.
- You agree to only submit materials which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.
If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
